With our course, we're allowing anyone interested to become a certified sailor.
This course is designed to create an opportunity for everyone to learn a certified course on sailing. You will be trained by India's top Instructors and coaches certified by the Yachting Association of India (YAI). Our Sailing Certificate Course is a full-blown training program that spans a total of 18 sessions divided equally between three levels.
About the course
There are three levels to this course.
Level 1 : (5 Sessions, each session is for 2 hours)
From the introduction to sailing, learning about the different parts of boats & sails to how to rig up a boat, this level will hone your basic sailing skills.
Level 2 : (5 Sessions, each session is for 2 hours)
One-up your skills by learning rope work, straight-line sailing, sailing a triangular course, and tacking & jibing.
Level 3 : (5 Sessions, each session is for 2 hours)
This course is meant to fine-tune your sailing skills and covers Basic First Aid, man overboard situations, learning to race, basic racing rules, and practice sessions.
On completion of each level, the student will receive a Certificate of completion for the respective level.
Training Schedule
We cater to a variety of students right from children to older adults. We understand everyone's availability of time in Mumbai. Thus our training schedule is flexible and we leave it up to the student to decide the days of the course along with his/her coach.
There is no strict timeline for the coaching, however, we encourage all our students to complete their sessions & levels with continuity. Gaps in time add to muscle memory loss while continuity ensures your learning is fresh and quick to implement.
Fee Structure
The Fee for each level is Rs 14999/-
After your course is completed, you will receive a certificate of completion from Captain Jack India. If you would like an additional Yachting Association of India (YAI) certificate, the cost is Rs 2500 for each level. Payment for each Level must be made after signing up for coaching & before your sessions begin.
